Review
Until this book, the Death books hadn’t quite clicked for me like the rest of the Discworld series. What changed it all is that Susan, Death’s grand-daughter, is the perfect gateway character. Even though the story wasn’t incredibly original by Pratchett’s standards (he has used the idea of something modern from another world breaking into the Discworld more than once), the execution was great and the writing was sharp.
