Review
A rousing finish to a thrilling trilogy. This one is especially interesting because the main character, Tally, is placed in the “villain” perspective throughout the book, working as a Special under the command of Dr. Cable, her former enemy. Over the course of the book she manages to change and control herself without an operation or drugs or anything else, and that is part of the message this book gets across so well. For being such a quick and entertaining read, there are a lot of heady moral questions raised here, stuff to cause a lot of thoughtful discussion. I’ll definitely be picking up the companion novel, “Extras”.
