Review
Definitely a transitional novel, the middle part of a trilogy. This book sets up everything that will inevitably happen in the final part. And, damn, if I didn’t just read spoilers for the final book in the series (the sequel to the trilogy). Stupid WikiPedia! Oh well. Now to forget those spoilers until I finally get around to reading that book.
