“Teeth” is a horror-comedy that premiered at the Sundance film festival… It’s been getting talked about a little bit because of the “gotcha” of its plot - a teenage girl discovers that she is the living embodiment of the vagina dentata myth. The movie could go either way… mostly I just loved the poster, which is why I’m writing about it now.
The IMDB boards seem to think its a pretty crappy movie, but I don’t normally trust them… the troll to human being ratio seems to be tipped way over to the troll side of the equation - everyone got’s something negative to say about pretty much every single actor/director/film out there, and they make sure to post it a dozen times on those boards. Oh well.
I’d heard of this movie before, but what brought it to mind right now was Moviefone’s list of their 20 favorite films from Sundance ‘07. Interesting stuff in there, including a movie that involves both Ryan Reynolds and acting!
