so i’ve been going a bit wacky with online dating sites. i’m sure i told you long ago that i joined match.com and the onion’s personals, but i also joined this website called OKCupid, simply because one of my friends wanted me to. it’s sort of a combination quiz/dating site, and it’s the only one of those three that’s completely free.
well, anyways, i completely forgot about OKCupid until today, when i got a message from a girl who i thought was pretty fuckin’ cute. this to me seemed to be a hopeful sign. after all, if a cute girl (albeit one with a boyfriend, according to her profile) thinks i’m cute, perhaps soon i’ll start meeting ones without boyfriends. so, i actually finished making my profile and then proceeded going about “woo”ing and messaging people randomly… although when i sent this one girl a message, i wrote “you’re” went i meant “your” and it’s driving me fucking crazy, because i know much much better than that, i was just brain dead when i wrote it.
internet dating. who’da thunk it? (although, to be truthful, i haven’t had any success so far.)
